1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers through truetam.com (referred to as "we", "us" or "TRUETAM"). A consumer is any individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
2. Formation of contract
The presentation of products on our website is not a binding offer on our part, but an invitation to order. By submitting the order form, you're making a binding offer to enter into a contract of sale. The contract is formed once we confirm your order by phone or in writing (for example, by email).
3. Prices and payment
Prices shown are the total amount you pay. We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. Delivery within the UK is free. Payment is made exclusively to the courier on delivery; further details in our Payment page.
4. Delivery
Delivery is currently made within the United Kingdom only. Delivery time information is on our Shipping page. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed as binding.
5. Retention of title
Goods delivered remain our property until paid for in full.
6. Cancellation rights
As a consumer, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days. The full text, including the model cancellation form, is on our Cancellation Rights page.
7. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. For questions about a fault with your order, contact us via our contact page.
8. Liability
We don't exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is limited to reasonably foreseeable losses arising from the breach.
9. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This doesn't affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country you live in. If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
